Brookwood Cemetery is the largest cemetery in England, as well as being one of the largest cemeteries in Europe (http://brookwoodcemetery.com).

 

Brukvudas kapsēta ir lielākā Anglijas kapsēta, kā arī viena no lielākajām Eiropas kapsētām (http://brookwoodcemetery.com).

 

In 1952, land within the cemetery was acquired for the burials of Latvian nationals. A monument was erected in 1961 within this land to honor the deceased. Over 400 Latvian nationals are buried in the cemetery. Cemetery data is digitized and available to the general public. We kindly welcome all submissions of information about the persons buried in the cemetery.
